FeatherStone Senior Living is a 120-unit assisted living and memory care community in Iowa City, Iowa, adjacent to Hickory Hill Park on the northeast side of the city. As part of the development, Nelson made a 38-acre land donation to the City of Iowa City—the largest land donation in the park’s history—ensuring that residents have access to nature and open space preserved in perpetuity.
